I am the father of a 12-year-old daughter. I work most of the time, and we do not get as many hours together as either of us would like.
When she needed help with school, I wanted to be the one who helped. But I was not always there. And when I was, I did not always know the subject well enough to teach it the way a good teacher would.
So I built something simple. A lesson she could open on her own. It explains one idea at a time with a picture that moves, lets her try it herself, and tells her how she did. Ten minutes, while I am at work.
We use it at home. Coursebook is that lesson, made a little tidier, for other families like ours. It is free, there are no accounts, and nothing on it knows who your child is.
